COASTVIEW VETERINARY HOSPITAL LAUNCHES NEW & IMPROVED DIGITAL MEDIA
SAN DIEGO, Calif. – To help pet owners in the greater Clairemont area find trustworthy veterinary information online, CoastView Veterinary Hospital has launched a new suite of digital media properties. With an emphasis on the user’s experience, the new website has improved navigation and functionality, a consistent look-and-feel, a free resource area with educational videos, and seamless integration with third party applications such as their online pharmacy and social media properties.
“When I planned and designed the physical hospital, I took great care to ensure a calm and peaceful feeling with a coastal themed décor,” said veterinarian and business owner Laura Schultz, DVM. “When our clients move through our hospital from the lobby, to the exam rooms, or to our special bereavement room, they will still ‘feel’ like they are in the same place. This can now be said of our digital properties, too.” Schultz continued, “As visitors move through our website’s pages, to our social media properties, or through our online store.”
In addition to the improved design and functionality, they’ve also incorporated a new Pet Gallery and an Events Page. The Events Page will be updated with pet-related activities planned for the Clairemont community and beyond.
The hospital chose to contract with local San Diego based internet marketing firm, ViziSites, for this project because they demonstrated a solid understanding of the proactive and ongoing role of digital media in pet healthcare. “It was so refreshing to hear ViziSites’ staff say, ‘Sure! We can do that,’ to nearly all of our requests.” Schultz continued, “The flexibility benefit of a custom website far outweighed the cost when compared to the constraints of cookie-cutter websites we’ve worked with in the past.”
